Dinner on the Deck

We had dinner on the outside deck at the Talkeetna Lodge. It was such a pleasant evening—we could have spent hours. It got a little cool late in the evening, but I’ll tell you, there’s no restaurant in the world with a view like this!

It was cloudy all day. Then, around 7pm in the evening, the clouds broke up, revealing the entire Alaska Range in the distance. We had no idea the view from the hotel was so spectacular! There must have been 20 guests from the hotel out back just staring
